From Shopify to Showroom: Bringing a Danish Camping Brand to the U.S.

From Shopify to Showroom: Bringing a Danish Camping Brand to the U.S.

Some weeks move slow. Others feel like everything finally starts to click.

This was one of those weeks.

For months, I’ve been trying to bridge two worlds: the quiet craftsmanship of Denmark and the endless possibilities of the American outdoors.

Isabella has always been about creating comfort around adventure, and now that vision is beginning to take shape here.

Most weeks start behind a laptop, this one started with a conversation.

I met with someone local who knows Shopify inside and out to get a better understanding of best practices and to learn about something called vibe coding.

It’s a way of thinking about how your site feels. Not just how it looks but how that translates into the experience a visitor has when they land there.

It reminded me that building Isabella in the U.S. isn’t just about products or logistics. I want to create a digital space that feels like us. Grounded, natural, and well-made. Check out our website if you are interested: www.isabellacamping.com.

Sometimes the smallest lessons end up shaping the biggest parts of how you move forward.

“Building a brand is as much about how it feels online as it is about what it looks like in person.”

From Screen to Road

Once the digital work wrapped up, I rented a camper van to get some real-world testing done with our Buddy awning. One of Isabella’s core products that we’ll be introducing to the U.S. market.

It’s one thing to see these products in a catalog or a warehouse in Denmark.

It’s another to set them up in an American campground, feel the weight of the canvas, and see how people respond.

Small Wins, Real Progress

Later in the week, I met with Woodland Airstream.

They agreed to display our Buddy awning in their showroom. A small step that means a lot.

It’s easy to get caught up in the size of the dream, but sometimes progress shows up quietly.

A handshake. A product on display. A small sign that says this might actually work.

I also prepped the Camp-let trailer for an upcoming trip to Utah, where we’ll be testing a new shipping method with our logistics partner.

Every week adds another piece to the puzzle.

“Progress often shows up quietly. A handshake, a setup, a single frame that fits.”

Looking Ahead

When you’re building something from scratch, the progress can feel invisible until suddenly it’s not.

This week, it was visible. Not in big headlines or numbers, but in the simple moments: getting the opportunity to use our products and continue to develop relationships.

From Shopify to showroom floors, it’s all part of the same story. A Danish brand finding its place in the U.S.
